There is NO BACKGROUND to these stickers. The background color will be the color of the surface you place the sticker on. These are not ‘heat transfers’, but just vinyl stickers with transfer tape on top so you can apply all the characters making up the sticker at one time yourself to the smooth, hard surface you desire. Once applied you remove the tape transfer from the top. These are not for use on fabric. These are not suitable for use on textured surfaces. 6 to 8 year semi-permanent adhesive rating which withstands the outdoor elements. This is shipped or USPS mailed ready to apply. Simple installation instructions will be sent with the product. Just cleanthe surface first to ensure that it is free from grease, dirt, oil, etc. Also, make sure the surface you will apply it is dry. Shipping / Mailing will be standard ground with trackingfor addresses in the USA. IMPORTANT: The least expensive tracking numbercosts us about $4.00. On items shipped UPS, damage claims are filed by you with them, as they are the insurer. Installation of decals are your responsibility and can be troublesome, especially if they are large. Video on platforms such as Youtube can show you how to install them if you need more than the simple instructions sent. With large decals especially we recommend using the «Hinge Method» of installation. If the surface is water resistant, you may consider the extremely soapy water application technique as well, which may also be found on Youtube. This technique is great when trying to avoid any small air bubbles that may be under the vinyl if not carefully applied using the dry method. We suggest you avoid installing in direct sunlight if temperature of surface is hot. The adhesive needs a few days to cure good onto the surface you’ve applied it to. Avoid rubbing or washing the surface of the vinyl for a few days after installing.
