Vintage Faux Book Hidden Storage Box ~ Aged Red Leather and Wood Good Condition. Still serviceable but worn. No need to purchase a “faux” old book storage box. This is genuinely old and worn. Generally clean but rubbed and scuffed. Somewhat faded. Small puncture hole on lid. (See Photo.) Edgeworn corners. It looks as if there were section dividers once upon a time, which are no longer there. I believe it’s real leather but I’m not sure how I would test it to tell. Gold gilt design on lid. I’m pretty sure it was originally for playing cards. Look closely at the gilt design corners and you can see a diamond, a spade, a club, and a heart.
