This is a single-color decal and has NO background. The background color of this decal will be the surface it adheres to. There is NO clear or colored backing after installation is complete. Just turn the decal over, peel off the backing paper, apply decal to smooth, clean surface, press firmly on decal, and then remove transfer tape. Decals are not printed; they are cut out of vinyl. There is no background on these decals. The colored portion you see is the vinyl decal. I use professional grade exterior Oracle 651 Vinyl material. This Vinyl is great for outdoor application on glass, cars, trucks, trailers, boats, RVs and more. All Vinyl is made in the U.S.A. Please Note: Included in this auction is the vinyl lettering only. Vinyl sayings/decals do not contain a background, only the actual vinyl letters adhere to the wall or other surface. Vinyl lettering can be applied to most non-porous smooth or semi-smooth surfaces. You may find some difficulty applying vinyl lettering to porous or chalk-like surfaces, such as stone, as well as painted surfaces in which a very flat paint was used, or heavily textured walls.
