Straight from the fantastical pages of folklore and fantasy literature (Harry Potter anyone?), Storybrook Hollow presents our own locally harvested Mandrake Root Seedling. This dumpy little root man, known scientifically as MANDRAGORA OFFICINARIUM, has been a part of herbal folklore for centuries. Rumored to both cure ills and bring good fortune, the Mandrake Seedling is a wonderfully whimsical addition to any home in search of a little touch of the magical in everyday life. Our Mandrake Seedlings are harvested from the dewy hillsides here in the Hollow and are individually potted with a fluffy bed of Spanish Moss so they have everything they need to head off to years of enjoyment in their forever home. Included with each Mandrake Seedling is a small parchment label and user’s guide offering some helpful tips about Mandrake-keeping. Just don’t make him angry – the crying of a grumpy Mandrake can be exceptionally painful. *please note that our Mandrake Seedling is not a real plant and is intended for indoor use* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This little potted fellow stands approximately 6 inches tall from the base of his pot to the top of leafy little head and comes with his own 3″ terracotta pot filled with Spanish Moss. Each Mandrake Seedling is a one of a kind creation and as such there will be slight variations in position, color, texture, and finish in every one. No two are alike!
