Vintage from the 1930s.Antique 19th Century Japanese Satsuma Plate. Fine Hand Painted Gold Gilt.Faded signature on back. Very fine hand painted and gilt decorated antique Japanese Satsuma plate. Measures approximately: 10 1/4″ diameter. Signed on back in gold. Lovely details of oriental faces and gowns with a relaxing setting. Features a group of women sitting in a garden terrace with lovely florals and plants surrounding them. Lavish use of enamels and gold.Nice condition. A bit of gilt loss but minimal.Scratches on egdes of plate (view in attachments).

Its six-sided hexagonal shape is painted in a stunning gold color and uses crackle glaze technology, with the glaze covered with fine cracks. The ceramic material is durable and perfect for storing a variety of items. Item weighs 3.8 pounds and measures 15 inches tall. The urn was not damaged. There is only one manufacturing defect in the mouth, please look carefully at the photos.
