This is a vintage, hand-decorated porcelain nut/candy bowl, likely of Austrian origin. Featuring a hand-painted floral daisy motif and a double-handle design, with a scalloped edge. The hand-painted decoration uses autumnal hues. Very good condition & very pretty. Similar items have been identified as being from makers like Rosenthal & Co. Bavaria, Roseville Pottery, or Nippon. However, in this case, there does not appear to be any definitive markings to claim as any particular company. There is an artist’s or a previous owner’s signature of Ruth M. Ferguson, that I am unable to trace.
