It was issued by Powell Inc., Distributed by JC Penney 796J(HX) and dated 1998 on the box as shown. It was sealed with old, age yellowed original tape (I show it sealed, in the first couple of photos) HOWEVER I partially opened the back side to check the contents for damage. You will be the first to remove the entire contents and construct. I only peeked inside to take measurements/show mahogany color and take photos. Any film/specks you see on the wood is from the packing material. According to the instructions, it consists of three panels (A,B,C)— each panel is approximately 23” tall (1 inch short of 2 ft) x 9” wide and holds photos 4”x6” in size. Since each panel holds 4 photos a total of 12 photos can be displayed. Panels look to have rounded tops. Instructions list the hardware included (hinges, glass etc). I could not find another like it in my search on line. Box graphics shows it on a chest, however that box is not included inside or listed on the instructions. Original sell price back in the 90’s, was 39.99 & still on the box. Even though is nicely factory packed, I have taped the box back up and will ship in another box.
