No chips or cracks. There are small white spots on surface as photographed. I could scrape a couple off with fingernails but didn’t want to risk anything else. They are small and not worth the risk of ruining it. The hanger looks like some DIYer added it at a later date. Again I didn’t want to risk taking it off and hung great on my wall.
