If freshly painted walls, wait at least 72 hours to install vinyl. 2) Prepare the front of the decal by rubbing a squeegee or credit card over the transfer tape. This will help to remove any bubbles in the vinyl prior to installation. 3) Get an idea of the position you want on the wall by holding it up to wall or surface. Use washable pencil markings on your surface if needed as a guide for proper placement. 4) Remove the paper backing off the back of the decal. 5) Lightly position the decal on the surface. Once positioned, rub the decal into place with a squeegee or credit card. 6) Slowly remove the transfer tape from the front of the decal. Start at the corner and pull at an angle. Be careful not to remove the decal. If the decal pulls away, reposition into place and rub with the squeegee again.
