The Art FALSE START by JASPER JOHNS measures 30W» x 40H» which is stretch-mounted and ready to hang right out of the box Canvas A canvas is the next best thing to the original artwork and establishes value for your published art. The process is meticulous but the end result speaks for itself. The transferred canvas gets back-stapled over a solid wood frame and finished with your choice of side edge finish. To better suite your style or decor, below are descriptions of 6 edge finishes for your canvas at no extra charge: Edge #1: 3/4″ matte black canvas sides (regular wrap) suited for framing at your local art-shop and smaller arts. Edge #2: 1-1/4″ matte black canvas sides (gallery wrap) recommended for oversized arts and our most popular. Edge #3: 3/4″ image sides (regular image wrap) which reduces frontal size by 3/4″ all around. Edge #4: 1-1/4″ image sides (gallery image wrap) which reduces frontal size by 1-1/4″ all around. Edge #5: 3/4″ image on left & right sides and 3/4″ matte black on top & bottom (regular semi-image wrap). Edge #6: 1-1/4″ image on left & right sides and 1-1/4″ matte black on top & bottom (gallery semi-image wrap). Black Floater Frame: This option at an extra cost uses edge #1 mounted with finger space between canvas and black solid wood floater frame. Semi-image Edge #5 and Edge #6 is a compromise having an image edge on each of the left and right sides and the hardly seen top and bottom are black edged (canvassed art retains full height). Note: Remember if you choose Edges #3, #4, #5 & #6 that art will be wrapped over the sides and may be lost from the frontal view. So if your art has a signature on the bottom too close to an edge, you may want to avoid having it end up on the side of the canvas by choosing Edge #1 or #2. Brushstrokes You will love the result of a finished transfer but we can enhance the canvas with acrylic or oil brushstrokes. Our team of artists use 3 different matte, satin and semi-gloss buildups using both brush and spatula carefully applied to the canvas replicating the contours and making it seem like an original (not suited for photography). Shipping & Handling All orders are custom made, so on every order we require between 7 to 10 working days for production plus a few days of shipping time to arrive. Many of our mediums implicate exceptional amounts of detail and work to obtain the perfected final product, so that when shipped you will be receiving the finest quality result. All our packages are hand prepared with a high fibre, double-walled, durable board meant to protect your art during its transit from our manufacturing facility to its new home on your wall. We take immense pride in our products, so we make sure our packages are shipped securely so that they arrive in a condition as pristine as when we shipped it out.
