This centerpiece consists of 7 individual un-attached pieces held in place by gravity. Once joined, they form a unique alabaster container that is 14” in diameter and 6” high to display flowers, fruits, or holiday arrangements. We acquired this item at an auction in North Georgia almost two decades ago and it has been a centerpiece on our table since then. I do not know its origin or its designer, and I have never found another piece that comes close to matching it. This is a one-of-a-kind modern-baroque piece of art that has led to many conversations regarding its origin.
