This is a beautifully crafted Flemish tapestry wall hanging depicting the work done in the French vineyards during grape harvest and wine making. The scene is alive with activity! This is a brand new tapestry, imported directly from Belgium, where it was created by a high quality tapestry weaving company in the Flanders region. It is a reproduction of a tapestry that was woven at the end of the 14th century. That original hangs in a Parisian museum. This story is told on the label on the reverse of the hanging. Portions of the original have been reproduced and may be available for purchase, but ours is a full representation of the original with all of the figures, busy at work. It is fully lined with fine deep blue fabric and has a generous rod pocket. This tapestry is 54" high by 110" wide. It will dramatically fill the wall of any large room and would be a wonderful item for a restaurant or a winery's tasting or event venue room.
